The 16t industrial vehicle registrations
In 2014, there were 217 958 truck registrations of 16 tonnes and more, a decrease of -6,1%. Spain and Germany stand out with respectively +25,6% and +6,1%.
Only in december 2014, the decline is -49,3% compared to december 2013, because of the anticipation of the Euro VI norms that created an important demand at the end of 2013.
The 3.5 to 16t industrial vehicle registrations
Between december 2013 and december 2014, the registrations for new industrial vehicles from 3.5 to 26 tonnes decreased by -8,1% in the European Union, with a total of 280 391 new trucks registered last year. The differences by countries are significant : France : -13,7%, UK : -27,8%, Spain : +23,2%.
+1,4% for bus and coach registrations
Only the registrations for buses and coaches of more than 3,5 tonnes have slightly increased in 2014, with an increase of +1,4% compared to 2013. Last year, 33 561 new buses and coaches were registered. Once more, Spain stands out with a +15,0% increase.
